The Team
In our Retail Banking division, our customers are at the forefront of everything we do, where the Community Banking function will lead and champion the development and the success of the Community Bank shared value Business Model. In addition, the function will focus on drawing insights from the Community Bank Network that will help inform and feed into strategies that support its point of difference in the Community. This will be achieved by identifying and implementing key recommendations and initiatives which underpin the continued success of the Community Bank model.
Your role
The Performance Analyst will provide expert advice and support to the team members on financial data and its commercial interpretation. They will be proactive in recommending solutions - both tactical and strategic - that support the broader team goal of ensuring sustainability and profitability of our partner network by providing the right support, decisions, and actions at the right time.
This role will support the Senior Manager Community Banking Operations to drive the improved data and analytics, they will support multiple teams across all areas of Community banking providing relevant reporting, data and insights for critical business requirements and to support the evolution and sustainability of the Community Bank model.
This is a Permanent Part time position working 61 hours per fortnight, which can be based in any location Nationally.
Your knowledge & experience
Demonstrated business experience gained within the Banking, Finance or Accounting industry is desirable but not essential
Experienced background in analytical skills with an ability to translate into insight and actions
Analytics, business modelling and reporting experience
Advanced Excel skills and proficient in other analytics tools, such as SQL and PowerBi
Ability to work in an agile and flexible environment
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and analytical skills
