About the role

Daikin Australia is looking for a Production Supervisor who is able to work in a fast-pace environment to manage the day to day manufacturing operations of our Assembly line.

The role operates out of our Sydney Manufacturing plant located in Chipping Norton and oversee up to 100 factory workers in operation.

In this role, reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing a high performing production line, ensuring production targets are met daily
- Supervising line staff and driving performance to meet production levels and quality output
- Assist in planning and delivering production schedules in collaboration with Management and supporting Manufacturing functions
- Continuously promote a safe, inclusive and positive work environment

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in supervisory role in any industry managing an operational team.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong communication skills
- Experience with manufacturing and production practices and principals is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst under pressure
- Experience working in hospitality operational environment will be highly regarded.

This is a hands-on, fast paced role working closely with key manufacturing stakeholders. You will be required to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
