**About the role**:
As our Yard Supervisor you will be responsible for leading all yard operations including labour and equipment whilst ensuring daily planned targets are met and that any issues identified during the day have corrective actions allocated.
**This role requires 6:30am starts and will involve some Saturday’s.**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor with coaching, training and development of operators on site
- Maintain a safe and reliable operation on a daily basis
- Carry out daily toolbox meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety, environment and all policies and procedures of InfraBuild
- Liaise with customers / contractors, answering the phone, directing calls and enquiries for the branch
- Ensure stock intake reports are updated daily and request sales if required
- Ensure all paperwork is signed in accordance with InfraBuild Recycling policy
We are seeking a safety focused leader with strong influencing & communication skills and a passion for delivering on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to drive a positive culture
- Experience in scrap metal, recycling or waste management industry, desirable
- Forklift licence, essential
- Experience in mobile plant operations such as excavators and skid steers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer literate and basic MS Office skills are essential
