**The Role**:
Cognizant is seeking a L2 Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases hosted on cloud platforms

**In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to**:

- Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases in a cloud environment
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based database solutions on platforms Azure (optional GCP).
- Set up and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of database systems.
- Plan and execute database upgrades and patches to maintain compliance and enhance features.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures
- Strong experience in SQL Server & Postgress SQL
- Experience in upgrades & maintenance of databases.
