**Database Administrator**

We are seeking an experienced IBM Informix (v14) Database Administrator to manage enterprise-level databases with our Government client. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in maintaining the performance and security of our Informix database systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our business operations.

One will work in a full-time capacity Monday to Friday as well as be available for after hours support as and when required.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain IBM Informix v14 database systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform tuning to optimize query execution and system resources.
- Perform regular database backups, recovery, and data integrity checks to ensure data security and minimize downtime.
- Provide on-call support for incident resolution and system maintenance.
