**Our client, a well regarded gold explorer and producer, requires a Mining Supervisor for a permanent role**.

**About the Role**

Make an impact as a
**_Mining Supervisor_** and support the leadership team at one of Australia's up and coming gold producers & explorer's.

You will be responsible for managing the mining operations team and ensuring production targets are achieved while also focusing on safety. Join a team of highly qualified professionals who are experts in their field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate contractor activities in consultation with survey and geology.
- Carrying out project work aimed at improving performance and efficient use of resources.
- Monitoring progress against plan and reporting significant deviations.
- Oversee dewatering requirements for the pit.
- Assume the role of quarry manager as required.

**Job Requirements**
- 5 + years of mine production, client or contractor based.
- Quarry manager's certificate (or other as approved by Worksafe).
- Contractor management experience.
- Excellent communication skills to advise and guide mining team in daily operations.
- Preferable working knowledge of surveying software including Surpac.
