We are seeking experienced Mining Supervisors on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth only.

The role will be responsible for the direct supervision of all personnel under their control and ensure tasks are carried out safely, as assigned and as per safe work methods. The production mobile plant includes three excavators, dump trucks and auxillery equipment.

The key accountabilities include:

- Managing a full production (& non-production) mining crew of employees, assuming direct control and responsibility for all activities within the area of responsibility.
- Ensuring tasks are assigned to personnel who have the skills, knowledge, experience and temperament to complete the task safety.
- Confirming personnel are fit for work and have the resources required for the allocated task.
- Making sure production targets and priorities are safely met as per the daily plan and direction from the Mine Superintendent.
- Driving safety behaviours to achieve zero harm, be accountable and drive safety as a front-line function.
- Hold a current WA Drivers
- Current Police Clearance
- A background in leading a large team as a frontline supervisor, or step-up supervisor experience
- Ability to mentor & coach Excavator / Dozer operators on effective blue rock mining techniques.
- A proactive attitude towards safety, and be a team player
- Demonstrated strong commitment to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
