**Jandakot Instruments & Avionics** is a privately owned Aircraft Avionic and Instrument Sales and Service organisation. We are a Part 145 Approved Maintenance organisation in good standing with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) and pride ourselves in providing excellent sales and services to the Aviation community of Western Australia and beyond.
We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant who is willing to learn and grow, to join our small team at our Jandakot facility, on a permanent full time basis working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
You will be the first point of contact in our Reception Area, and it is a diverse role involving a variety of administrative tasks and projects supporting our engineers.
**The role will include**:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and welcoming customers in Reception
- Process incoming components and customer orders by recording the information on an Excel Spreadsheet and completing set worksheet templates accordingly.
- Process completed work packs by entering data on Excel and completing set templates of certificates (this will include basic Excel formulas)
- Ordering of stationery
- Assist other administration staff as and when required with administrative work
**Selection criteria for the role**:
- A friendly and professional individual with a positive attitude and adhere to company procedures.
- Highly reliable (punctuality and attendance) and well presented
- Excellent and friendly telephone manner.
- High attention to detail, excellent keyboard and data entry skills (accuracy when recording data is essential)
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills are essential
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of basic formula entry is essential)
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on your own as well as in a team
- You will require to have a driver’s licence and your own vehicle as there is no public transport facilities nearby.
**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
