**About the Role**

The QC/QA lead will ensure that products consistently meet WWG’s quality and compliance standards, as well as relevant regulations and legislation. By adhering to quality control and assurance processes, the lead will mitigate risks to WWG and its customers, effectively managing both reputational and financial risks.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Conducting Product Inspections: Regularly inspect products during various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Implementing Corrective Actions: Identify and address any quality issues by implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Developing Quality Protocols: Create and update quality assurance protocols to ensure consistent production quality.
- Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure that all products comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Performing Audits and Reviews: Conduct regular audits and reviews to verify compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Managing Testing Data: Collect, analyze, and manage data from product tests to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conducting Quality Training: Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and procedures for staff and supply chain partners.
- Maintaining Quality Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control and assurance activities.
- Identifying Process Improvements: Use data and records to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Conducting Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments, document findings, and ensure timely close-outs of identified risks.

**What we’re looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant Certification in Apparel and/or Textiles, Engineering, Quality System management
- Connection with key industry bodies such as Educational Institutions, Testing Facilities, Standards Australia, as examples, is desirable
- Experience with performance apparel or workwear desirable,
- Knowledge of Industrial Work wear standards highly regarded.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar position
- Build strong cross functional connections
- Exceptional attention to detail
