**Your new company**

This Federal Government organization is seeking a Cloud Services Advisor to join their team on a 12 month contract with the view to extend. The organization is currently doing hybrid work mode - 2-3 days working from home, their office is in Sydney CBD. They are looking for someone who can play a key role in providing guidance and expertise on the use and optimisation of Microsoft Azure cloud services for the organization.

**Your new role**

As a Cloud Services Advisor, you will be leading the planning and implementation of the Agency’s complex and high priority Cloud Optimisation program, this includes different work streams such as storage and backup optimization, environment management, contract consolidation, tenancy consolidation, security, and strategy and architecture roadmap. You will also have strong stakeholder management experience internally and externally, as you will be collaborating with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable cloud architectures and deployment plans. As a Cloud Services Advisor, you will also be experienced in the Agile framework, and create epics and stories in Azure DevOps necessary for technology projects to deliver business products.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a Cloud Services Advisor or consultant, providing strategic guidance on cloud adoption and utilization.
- Must have detailed technical knowledge in Azure Cloud and Microsoft Azure Enterprise Landing Zones including Azure Billing and Azure tenants, Identity and Access Management, Network Topology and Security.
- Experience in governance and assurance for Cloud Platform Solution Architecture and Design
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, services, and platforms - Azure
- Proven experience in leading the planning and implementation of an organization’s complex and Cloud Optimisation program
- Extensive experience with cloud migration methodologies, tools, policies and Government frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with vendors, C- Suite stakeholders, and technical teams
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Baseline Clearance
