Insurance based Organisation based in West Perth seeking a readily available Training and Development Specialist for temporary assignment with potential to extend. Great Location, competetive pay.

**Training and Development Specialist**

Working hours: 38 hour week, Mon - Fri (Flexible hours)

Pay rate: $50 - $55ph + Super

Start date: ASAP Start

**The Role**

The Key focus of this role will be the updating and streamlining the induction and training program for new starters within the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

- Assess and evaluate the current training material, identifying any gaps
- Monitor weekly training progress, identify trends, look for areas of improvement/synergy/efficiency
- Collation of available training materials and matching materials to the chronological order of knowledge and skills.
- Depending on the quality and quantity of existing training materials there may be a need to design and build new training content and self-testing materials (will need to work with SME's to do this). This should include guidance on how the employee should train themselves on a new learning to include timeframed plan to achieve certain skills
- Propose a hosting platform (eg Sharepoint) to house training content. This will be accessible by the employee and the manager. Once a solution has been agreed upon the content will need to be integrated into the platform.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all necessary resources are obtained for scheduled training (trainers, autonomous training zone etc.)
- Raise issues promptly so remedial actions can be implemented if and when schedule is at risk due to training issues
- Maintain office policies and procedures

**Experience Required**
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role relating to training coordination or Learning and Development
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask
- Proactive and organised with the ability to learn quickly
- C class driver's licence
