**The opportunity
Bupa is looking for an experienced People Partner to join on a permanent full time basis, based in Melbourne with flexible hybrid / work from home options, with some occasional local travel required, supporting Bupa Villages and Aged Care (BVAC). We are one of Australia's leading residential Aged Care providers with more than 50 care homes, supporting over 5000 residents, and you will be part of an amazing HR team that provides HR guidance and support to our Aged Care managers and employees. As a People Partner, your main focus is to enable business leaders to effectively manage and support their people. To succeed in this role, you need significant business partnering experience with excellent stakeholders management, the ability to look at all people-related matters from a holistic point of view, coach and enable leaders to be successful people leaders and have an empathetic approach to HR.
**How will I help?**
Key accountabilities include:
- Truly business partner with our stakeholders to provide guidance and advice to managers as well as coach our people leaders to become proficient in managing people processes including, but not limited to organisational effectiveness, effective rostering, managing attendance, performance discussions, Enterprise Agreement, driving engagement etc
- Work closely with the People Advisors and Bupa’s COEs to manage IR/ER cases
- Actively support the implementation and roll out of new and cyclical initiatives such as the performance management system, annual review process, engagement surveys and new processes and policies.
- Support the Head of People to deliver organisational re-design, deliver people plans which address the strategic and operational business needs and aligned to the overall people strategy

**What do I need?**
- Extensive HR business partnering experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience in managing high volume and complex end to end ER cases
- Strong operational experience with a hands on approach to HR but also the ability to think strategically and be proactive in providing tailored solutions to your client groups
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to connect with people to understand their issues and problem solve accordingly
- Experience in generalist HR including but not limited to leadership capability, operational HR delivery, employee retention, talent management etc.
- Degree in HR, Psychology or Management
