Public Sector People are currently partnered with a leading Council in Melbourne's eastern suburbs in the recruitment of a talented People Advisory Business Partner for a 6 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the People Advisory Lead, this role will play a pivotal part in partnering with senior leaders to provide strategic HR & Strategic Talent support across the organisation.

As a People Advisory Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing trusting and credible relationships with stakeholders by providing HR & Talent operations advice and support. Key responsibilities include talent attraction and sourcing, talent partnering and advice, workforce and succession planning, as well as contributing to various projects and initiatives within the HR function.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Talent attraction and sourcing strategies
- Providing HR advice and support to stakeholders
- Developing and implementing talent policies and procedures
- Managing workforce planning and succession initiatives
- Supporting key HR projects and collaborating with the wider team

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field
- Demonstrated experience in HR business partner role
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data interpretation
- Proven project management experience
- Ability to build strong relationships across the organisation
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
