THE ROLE

Step into the dynamic role of Fundraising Officer at Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP) and take the reins of our impactful telefundraising endeavours. As the driving force behind our acquisition and retention strategies, you will orchestrate our telefundraising activities, ensuring seamless operations and driving exceptional performance. Your proactive approach will shine as you introduce fresh and innovative initiatives, collaborating closely with telefundraising partners to surpass targets and uphold the highest standards of call quality.

Reporting to the Acquisition Manager, you will spearhead the vital mission of recruiting new regular giving supporters while nurturing and upgrading our existing advocates through the telefundraising channel. Beyond this core responsibility, you’ll also embrace the opportunity to shape other acquisition fundraising initiatives that extend beyond telefundraising.

THE TEAM

Join our Fundraising & Technology Department, becoming a valued member of our close-knit team alongside two skilled Fundraising professionals. Operating in a fast-paced dynamic setting, we focus on actively connecting with supporters and conveying impactful narratives about our campaign efforts - a commitment evident in every call we make.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Your expertise extends to the realm of data, where Excel and Google spreadsheets are your canvas for analysis and seamless information processing. Your organisational prowess is second to none, effortlessly juggling competing workloads and strategically prioritising tasks that propel us forward.

When it comes to communication, you shine in both synchronous and asynchronous digital channels. Your copywriting skills are a testament to your ability to weave compelling narratives that drive meaningful fundraising efforts.

Your relationship management skills are unparalleled - fostering connections that last and leaving a lasting impression. Even amidst pressure, deadlines don’t faze you; you remain steadfast, ensuring excellence in every detail.

In addition, you will have the following knowledge and experience:
Knowledge
- High level telefundraising program and strategy knowledge;
- In-depth knowledge of call centre metrics and operations;
- Understanding of broader fundraising acquisition and retention channels and strategies;
- Project management experience and proven success;
- Salesforce knowledge - especially the ability to build, analyse and gain insights from Salesforce reports (desirable);
- Knowledge of CIVIS dashboards (desirable);
- Knowledge and understanding of fundraising in the not-for-profit sector (desirable).

Experience
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar or related role;
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a Coordinator role;
- At least two (2) years’ experience working with suppliers and/or vendors;
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement;
- Experience in administration and project management

**Annual full-time salary: $91,080.39 per annum + 11% superannuation per annum.**
