**Transport Allocator - Sydney**

Will be responsible for coordinating FCL & LCL movements of import and export containers & consignments. Great position with training and support provided to an individual interested in getting into this type of role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate FCL movements of import and export containers.
- Allocate trucks and liaise with drivers.
- Ensure container slot bookings are checked and correct (relevant to wharf/container parks).
- De-hiring of containers.
- Timely and accurate updating of our transport management system.
- Optimise fleet operations.
- Admin tasks including approval of driver run sheets, monitoring tolls, waiting time and fuel expense.
- Other duties as when required.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A team player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Excel and Outlook with an ability to learn and understand new programs.
- Experience with 1-stop and container chain.
- Willing to learn and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferable to have some form of transport planning/allocation experience.

**Basic Job Requirements**:

- Accurate and timely data entry skills. Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management and customer service skills; Organised, self-motivated and problem solver;
- Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously.
- In fulfilling this position you can expect to work an 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday primarily onsite.
- $120,000 + Super
