Sydney, Australia UpGuard Full time

**Who are we?**

UpGuard’s mission is to make life easier for security teams. We meticulously create robust solutions that enable our customers to identify, assess, and remediate cybersecurity risk across their attack surface, vendor ecosystem, workforce, and trust relationships. Our integrated cyber risk posture management platform combines comprehensive security ratings, instant risk assessments, templated security questionnaires, threat intelligence capabilities, and agentic AI to give organizations a holistic view of their risk surface.

Our People team consists of Talent Acquisition & Enablement and Team Member Experience. At UpGuard, we all deserve to work in an environment where we are treated with dignity and respect. Our People team is committed to creating such an environment, where everyone has the opportunity to be themselves and reach their fullest potential. Our Talent Acquisition & Enablement team is committed to finding individuals who embody our values and are passionate about the work they do to help UpGuard continue to grow.

**Where does this role fit in?**

As part of the People Team, the Manager, Organisational Development plays a pivotal role in shaping how we grow, evolve, and strengthen as a collective. You’ll sit at the intersection of culture, capability, and experience - ensuring our people, systems and programs not only enable performance, but also reinforce who we are and how we work together.

You’ll work closely with People Team peers across Learning, People Partnering, and Talent, as well as with senior leaders across the business, to translate our organisational intent into meaningful, lived experiences for every team member.

**What will you do?**:
- Design and deliver initiatives that intentionally build organisational capability, mindset, and behaviour — scaling the “how we win” as we grow.
- Lead the design and rollout of a **programmatic learning cycle**, embedding ongoing learning and reflection into the company’s operating rhythm.
- Partner with senior leaders to define, measure, and strengthen the **employee experience** across core milestone moments (onboarding, growth, performance, transitions).
- Leverage our **values and culture** as a strategic moat, ensuring they are embedded in decision-making, leadership development, and daily rituals.
- Evolve our **listening strategy** to continuously capture, interpret, and act on employee feedback, ensuring we stay connected to the vibe and voice of our people.
- Partner with People Analytics to connect insights from engagement, feedback, and performance data into actionable organisational learning.
- Serve as an internal coach, thought partner, and facilitator to leaders navigating change, growth, and team development.

**What will you bring?**:
- Deep experience in organisational development, learning design, or culture transformation within dynamic, scaling organisations.
- Proven ability to design and deliver programs that shift mindsets and behaviours, not just skills.
- A systems-thinking lens - able to connect dots between people, processes, and performance.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Comfort working across ambiguity, experimentation, and iteration - balancing conceptual thinking with pragmatic delivery.

**What will give you an edge?**:
- A track record of architecting **learning systems** that drive organisational adaptability and growth.
- Experience leveraging **values and culture** as a core element of organisational strategy.
- A curious, data-informed mindset - you’re as comfortable interpreting qualitative signals as you are quantitative trends.
- The ability to bring energy, insight, and clarity to complex people challenges.

**What's in it for you?**:
- ** Monthly Lifestyle subsidy**: Our employees use this for financial, physical, and mental well-being
- ** WFH set-up allowance**: To ensure you have the right environment to work in, we will help you get set up within your first 3 months at UpGuard
- ** $1,500 USD annual Learning & Development allowance**:To support your career development, all team members will be able to expense development opportunities against this allowance
- ** Generous Annual Leave/PTO allowances**: Time to recharge your batteries
- ** 18 weeks paid Parental Leave**:Irrespective of parenting role
- ** Personal Leave Allowance**: This includes sick & carer’s leave
- ** Fully remote working environment**: While we have physical offices in Sydney & Hobart, we do not mandate compulsory attendance
- ** Top-spec hardware**: All team members will be provided with top-spec laptops for their roles
