APG is currently seeking and experience Manager, Multi-Utility Design for a 12-month contract within a Paramatta Government Department

**Responsible for working within the engineering and technical workstream to support the Final Business Case team, including**:

- Development of strategic concept designs for the co-design of multi-utility corridors within a road reserve via the assistance of a Technical Advisor.
- Management of a large Technical Advisor in the production of strategic concept designs for the co-design of multi-utility corridors within a road reserve.
- Developing and implementing business requirements with utility providers.
- Adding value in the review of outputs and pro-active support of the Technical Advisor
- Working closely with TfNSW in the development of multi-utility corridors.
- Reporting to working groups and governance groups in relation to technical and design matters.
- Management and review of constraints assessment
- Management and review of Constructability analysis
- Supporting cost estimating processes, value management and project risk assessment processes
- Participation in project development assessment processes including options assessment processes, participation in workshops, drafting of technical papers, inputs to the Final Business Case and governance papers.
- Manage the technical interfaces with other projects
- Overall management of the Technical Advisor consultancy.
- Review, challenge and improve environmental assessment outcomes.
- Identification and assessment of key risks and risk mitigation strategies

**Skills & Experience we are looking for**:

- Technical knowledge of the utility sector (water, power, gas, and/or telecommunications)
- Strong understanding of technical and design development within a government and business case environment
- Project planning
- Project management
- Contract management
- Analytical, and adept in problem solving
- Managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Ability to plan and prioritize and respond effectively to change Highly regarded:

- GIS experience
- Business/ Corporate Planning
- Policy development
