A federal government agency is looking to bolster its Testing capability and needs a Test Lead to assist with a number of data focussed initiatives.

The team develops, governs, and maintains an enterprise data warehouse as well as the Agencies’ reporting platforms and production content. They design and build Business Intelligence (BI) interventions and prototype analytic solutions and reports, identifying trends and drivers of performance.

Reporting to the ADA QA Lead/Manager, the Test Lead is responsible for:

- Building up and leading the Data and Analytics Squad in the implementation of the ADA Quality Assurance framework in all projects, products or initiatives;
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery;
- Plans and coordinate test activities with the Product Owner (System Test, SIT)
- Build the test cases for each release and ensure test coverage of traceability to requirements and solutions.
- When required, perform various tests on data and reports, finding defects, retesting and regression testing.
- Responsible for monitoring the test process and leading the team to ensure the test goes to plan.

**Essential criteria**
- At least 10 years of software testing experience in the System Integration and E2E testing
- Strong in the use of JIRA as Test and Defect Management tool, incl. X-Ray plug-in
- Sound understanding of the Software Quality Assurance best practices
- Sound understanding of ETL processes and enterprise data warehousing practices
- **Desirable criteria**:

- Experienced in various techniques of data analysis and data warehouse testing
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in testing Salesforce CRM Analytics Dashboards

This role can be based out of Sydney or Melbourne on a hybrid basis. Australian citizens for this role due to security clearance.
