Dental Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who is professional and has excellent communication skills. A warm and proactive team focused nature will see you be successful and fit the culture of our practice. Our aim is to always exceed our patient's expectations in creating beautiful and healthy smiles. The individual must possess a positive attitude and empathy for others. Your role is to ensure the smooth running of procedures along with your team members. The position available is part time/casual with the potential for more days added in the new year.
**About the role**:
- Clinical chair-side assistance and support to the dentist.
- Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic, including infection control.
- Sterilisation of dental instruments.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team.
- Coordination of laboratory work.
To truly excel in this role, you will need to be:
- Knowledge in all aspects of general dentistry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer literate - Dental 4 Windows/Web knowledge is preferable.
- Cert III/IV in Dental Assisting will be advantageous.
- Consistently well presented, polite and tactful with a genuine interest in helping people.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must be approachable and honest with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Must be a permanent resident of Australlia or hold a working Visa
