**Your Impact**
As Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of brewing and blending areas, working with the Technical Brewer and NPD Lead to ensure that we delivery quality products on time. You will be leading 4 Shift Managers reporting into you, supporting them through challenges, towards achieve targets, and empowering their development.
Laverton produces a wide range of alcoholic beverages for consumers to enjoy and we pride ourselves on producing quality products.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support all continuous improvement initiatives, involvement in 5S activities for the Brewery. Identify potential cost savings and optimisations of the brewing process
- Monitoring system processes across the Brewery and ensuring compliance to recipe and quality expectations.
- Monitor stock levels of all raw materials, and receival of brewing inwards goods and report any shortages.
- Provide people with regular feedback, coaching, support and guidance and facilitate discussions to identify career development goals
- Commit to participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace, by complying with instructions given for your own safety and that of others
**About You**
As a confident and engaging leader, you will utilise your skills set to manage expectations of stakeholders at all levels, you must be comfortable having tough conversations, and inspire growth and productivity within your team.
In addition, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (IBD Certification would be highly regarded)
- Experience in Production Management, within an FMCG environment
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Strong leadership skills, and ability to coach others
- Organised, and able to juggle competing priorities
