Knox Private Hospital is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team on our Delamere Ward. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.

As a Nurse Unit Manager your responsibilities will include:

·       The position is responsible for providing clinical leadership to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.

·       You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.

·       As the Nurse Unit Manager you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources

We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Essential Criteria:

·       Current Registration with AHPRA

·       Working with Children check

·       Post graduate qualification in Critical Care

·       Previous experience at ANUM or NUM level, or equivalent

·       Compliance with ACSQHC National standards

·       A strong commitment to developing in a management role

·       Computer literacy including MS office and various data bases

·       Ability to work cohesively within a team environment

·       Proven time management and prioritisation skills

·       Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management

·       Demonstrated HR management experience

 If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement "
