WHO ARE WE?
We’re Equiem - a global leader in property technology (‘proptech’). We launched the world’s first tenant experience app for office buildings - a key innovation that helps commercial landlords digitize their buildings and make them exciting, productive and vibrant places to work. Imagine your dream work environment - that is what we help deliver.
Equiem started with two employees and one building in 2011. Today, we have 150+ staff and our app is live in 600+ buildings across Australia, the UK, the US, Ireland and Canada - including many of the world’s most recognisable skyscrapers and campuses.
Nothing like our product previously existed. It helped revolutionize how landlords engaged with their customers - the people in the building, creating a new category of technology called ‘tenant experience’. Today, ‘TenX’ is a key component of a modern landlord’s strategy.
We’re established, but we’ve worked hard to retain the best aspects of our start-up culture. This means everyone has a voice, enjoys great self-rule, and is able to make a genuine impact on our business.
WHO ARE YOU?
You:
- are equal parts, content strategist and copywriter. Clever phrases and creative concepts aren't all you care about. You're passionate about developing effective strategy, programming the right messages and themes, determining message hierarchies, and developing user experiences that are aligned with a client’s strategic initiatives.

- perceive how to transform raw text into an effective content piece by imagining the reader’s needs.
- are resourceful in solving problems and finding information.
- sweat the small stuff and are methodical and meticulous, and you make the connections others wouldn’t because of your immaculate attention to detail.
- nail the basics - organising, prioritising, and meeting deadlines. You can keep track of numerous multi-stage projects over extended periods.
THE KEY ESSENTIALS
- ~two years copywriting/campaign management/content strategy experience preferably in the retail, content and lifestyle space
- Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Communications, PR, Journalism, Professional Writing, Publishing & Editing or a related field
- Possess exceptional writing and editing skills and be able to back this with examples of your work
- Strong organisational skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, cleverly program content and prioritise tasks accordingly, with a commitment to systems and processes that adhere to editorial workflow principals
You possess a go-getter attitude, solutions-based approach and enthusiasm for fostering positive and caring team morale. You demonstrate patience and compassion when working with and delivering feedback to others, and are comfortable in accepting feedback directed at you and your work.
If you have the initiative to take ownership of tasks, embrace change, are super flexible in a fast-paced environment and are looking to work in a small team that will challenge AND support you; are curious and kind with a ripper sense of humour...let's talk.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
In return, we offer a fun, cohesive and flexible working environment with a team that thrives on achieving the ambitions we aim for, plus:
