Foster Carer Recruiment Practitioner

Recruit and retain foster carers providing them with the required training and support
- Permanent |full time| based at our office in Dandenong
- Marketing, enquires, carer assessment, training, accreditation and information sessions
**Your role**:
- Targeted carer recruitment and coordination of carer assessments.
- Develop a clear recruitment strategy including advertising channels, preparation and placing of recruitment ads.
- Present and deliver carer information sessions.
- Assess the foster carers by conducting assessments and identify potential placements for new carers.
- Take all enquiries from new carers and potential carers.
- Think strategically and work as part of a team to overcome the challenges associated with the recruitment of new carers.
**About you**:
- Demonstrated training and assessment skills including the presentation/facilitation of training/information sessions, and conducting pre accreditation assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to devise and implement media campaigns in a creative and professional manner pertinent to the needs of Foster Care recruitment.
- Not-for-profit experience and previous out-of-home home care sector knowledge is highly desirable
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, communicating with influence, organisational, planning, and relationship management skills.
**Qualifications/Licenses**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, welfare or related disciplines or matching skills to perform the role.
- Driving license.
