**Job Description**:
We are looking for a passionate Marketing Manager that loves to build and grow market leading brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on our Petbarn and Private Label brands with the leaders of the business to define key areas of focus and how to position our brands in the marketplace. You will also be responsible for the Petbarn and The Nosh Project social channels and defining the role of this channel in the broader ecosystem. Petbarn has a world of opportunities, and the challenge lies in being laser focused in the right areas to help us win long term. You will also require your finger on the pulse with ever‐evolving world of content marketing, influencer marketing and social media. With desired previous experience managing and developing Retail Brands across physical and online stores, you will champion our pet wellness brand and content strategy.

**What your day will look like**:

- Develop and maintain the strategic narrative for the Petbarn Brand and weave the new brand campaign across all customer touchpoints.
- Co-create 1 and 3 year brand horizons to enable the business to rally behind the direction of the brand becoming a Pet Wellness destination and driving long term brand equity
- Develop Brand campaigns to strengthen brand track metrics and drive awareness and consideration of Petbarn and the Private Label brands
- Lead the ongoing marketing strategy for The Nosh Project and drive new above the line campaigns to help strengthen awareness and consideration for the brand
- Design with Media Agency a media plan to support long term brand health and growth in brand metrics across both Petbarn and Private Label brands
- Development and production of Social Media strategy, content pillars, copy and campaigns throughout our social channels
- Create strategic Influencer & PR campaigns to engage followers and create conversation for our brands
- Manage the distribution of content across multiple channels.
- Look to develop new social channels where relevant and manageable with consideration to opening new channels to service customers
- Work closely with the marketing, design and agency teams to ensure all content and communication is innovative, engaging and brand consistent.
- Provide insights via analytics reporting measuring the performance of all content & channels, making recommendations to drive the business forward
- Manage and provide support to the Social Media Executive and Private Label Campaign Executive

**You’ll possess**
- Familiarity and experience in developing & implementing strategic brand and communication plans across bricks and clicks
- 5 years’ similar working experience
- Strong track record in building strategic plans to deliver to XLT and board.
- Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with great attention to detail
- Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram.
- Effective time management, with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills, an excellent communicator who can successfully build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally;
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing and / or Communications & PR
