We create innovative solutions to meet our customers’ needs, making their energy transition easy. **About the role**: The Energy Solutions team is currently recruiting for a Digital Analyst This role sits within the Data and Analytics team and is responsible for developing and using data captured through our digital assets, to support insights and analytics around our customer experience and products evolution. This role involves setting up and managing custom tags in Google Tag Manager (GTM), collaborating with app developers to ensure accurate event tracking, and extracting insights from GA4 event data via BigQuery. The Digital Analyst will provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions, enhance user experience, and drive digital performance. **Key Deliverables**: - Act as the SME for Tags on digital assets; and related data structures; - Work with digital and marketing teams to define, deliver and test tag implementation and configuration for new digital products - Lead development of relevant data products from digital data for use in other analytics - Collaborate with Development team to develop, over time, technical capabilities for digital test-and-learn, A/B testing, and personalised user journeys - Create insights on digital product usage to support optimisation of digital assets - Work with Customer stakeholders including Product Managers, Digital, and Marketing to support execution of digital strategy over time - Work with advanced analytics teams to embed prescriptive analytics, measurement frameworks, and test and learn activities that provide actionable insights and clear commercial conclusions - Provide insights and expertise into strategic projects such as product development, loyalty, and or partnerships, as required - Develop and present insights and actionable recommendations - Collaborate with Data Science teams to develop advanced analytics opportunities such as customer lifetime value, customer decision models, cross sell, next best action, or pricing **Qualifications**: - Deep understanding of GA4, including event-based tracking and user journey analysis for both web and mobile platforms. - Capable working with large data sets including SQL, and experience working with relevant big data technologies - Proven experience in setting up and maintaining custom tags for web tracking, including event, goal, and conversion tracking. - Experience working with app developers to implement and track app events, understanding of Firebase and its integration with GA4. - Hands-on experience in querying GA4 event data using BigQuery/Snowflake to extract insights and identify trends. - Experience working in a multi-product environment - Proven experience working with diverse business stakeholders, business partnering and/or consulting experience - Commercial understanding of customer profitability through P&L; experience developing commercial models - Demonstrated experience independently leading initiatives and analyses end-to-end **Desirable**: - Experience in retail, P&C or electricity industry and markets relevant to Ampol **We’ll take you
