**About the role**:
We’re looking for a **Planning and Resource Manager** to join our brand-new Automated Distribution Centre

This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in the commissioning of our second Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) which will use world-class technology to modernise our Supply Chain. Epic in scale and design, our new facility represents the future of logistics.

Located in Kemps Creek New South Wales, you’ll utilise state of the art facilities to deliver outstanding service level fulfilment to our stores. Critical to the site’s success are our people who’ll enable day to day operations.

Primary duties include:

- Develop labour resource plans and propose effective shift pattern solutions to match the operational requirements of the ADC.
- Actively manage and develop the Workforce Management Tool to streamline labour management and monitor and manage key performance indicators.
- Actively monitor impact of automation downtime, productivity & staff attendance trends and adjust labour plans in an agile manner to minimise disruptions to service levels
- Regularly review workload trends and adjust the planning logic accordingly
- Provide leadership support, direction and technical expertise to ADC team members in all aspects of labour and resource management.
- Foster and maintain a work environment conducive to operational excellence and continuous improvement, employee engagement and the highest levels of safe working practices.

**About you and your skills**:

- Minimum 3 - 5 years management experience either in a logistics, automated distribution facility or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and understanding of a statistical process control.
- Demonstrated experience in working with teams in a complex DC environment, preferably within retail or FMCG.
- Strong communication skills that can influence and negotiate great outcomes, particularly with external stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in Warehouse Management Systems, rostering processes, labour management systems, engineered labour standards and understanding of Industrial Instruments and Supply Chain Awards.
- Strong commercial acumen and focus on key performance metrics
- Continuous improvement/LEAN six Sigma Training and experience required.
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics Management or similar highly desirable.
