Jigsaw OOSH is seeking a dedicated Nominated Supervisor to lead our Out of School Hours (OOSH) service, ensuring excellence in operations, compliance, and program delivery.

**About the role**

As the Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our OOSH service. You will lead a team of educators, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and child-centered program. You will maintain strong relationships with families, the school community, and regulatory bodies while driving continuous improvement within the service.

The Service is open 6:30am - 9:00am and 2:30pm -6:00pm Monday to Friday. Administrative time is worked around these areas to ensure focus on the children, staff and families during operating hours.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the OOSH service in line with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Implement and oversee educational programs that align with the My Time, Our Place learning framework.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and workplace safety requirements.
- Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and support to a team of educators to foster professional growth and high-quality practice.
- Manage rosters and staff development in collaboration with management.
- Oversee child safety, welfare, and wellbeing, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and the wider community.
- Handle administrative duties, including compliance reporting, attendance records, incident management, and centre budget.

**Essential Requirements**
- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, School-Age Education & Care, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within an OOSH or childcare setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and National Quality Standards.
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- Child Protection Qualification (CHCPRT025)
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to build a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for children and educators.

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
