**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our crucial support team as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator at John Flynn Village** **in Burwood East. This is a **PART TIME **position working **Monday to Friday, 0930 - 1630** in our **Low Care team.**

We love when our lifestyle coordinators use their creative flair to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents. This is a diverse role, and no two days are the same You will:

- Plan, schedule, facilitate and run activities within our village
- Ensure our activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental and social activities
- Curate and develop flyers / communications around monthly events
- Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
- Work closely with the broader activities team to ensure our events calendar runs smoothly
- Run our resident bingo - it sure is a fan favorite
- Assist in the delivery of various workshops, social and craft activities. Anything from bake offs, fashion shows and even floristry demonstrations
- Accompany residents on various outings

**About You**

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

- Strong empathy
- Outstanding communication skills
- A creative flair you're not afraid to let shine
- Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent required
- Residential Aged Care working experience required
- Experience of activity calendar planning and care profile planning required
- Experience required for** **arranging programs for variety of culture, social background and religious group**.**
