Established over 30 years ago, SCT Operations is an industry leader in the provision of geotechnical consultancy, instrumentation and research to the underground mines and civil industries. With offices in Australia (Wollongong, Brisbane, Bendigo) and New Zealand, SCT provides a unique opportunity to gain global exposure.

To support our continued growth we are looking to employ a Field Technician as an integral part of our geotechnical engineering team.

**About the role**
- Assist with field campaigns on exploration drill sites.
- Service and maintain equipment and instrumentation.
- Pack instrumentation kits with attention to detail.
- Understand WHS obligations and be committed to working safely.
- Work well as part of a team and participate in robust discussion seeking to continuously improve.

**About you**
- You are a looking for an opportunity to be part of a team, providing assistance and learning on the job, and enthusiastic to travel for work to remote relocations.
- You focus on accuracy and have excellent attention to detail.
- You enjoy working in a workshop and are confident working with tools.
- Experience machining, fitting and servicing equipment is an advantage.
- You must be eager and able to learn on the job.
- You are curious and have good problem solving skills.
- You have good communication skills and are able to interpret and follow instructions.
- You value being part of a team and are excited to work alongside experienced engineers.
- Have a full NSW (or equivalent) drivers’ licence.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:
