- Due to our continued growth and project pipeline, there is an opportunity for a highly experienced Statutory Planner to join our APAC Planning team.
- Our team is made up of a group of highly skilled and motivated Planners with an enthusiastic approach to life and work. We currently service a pipeline of projects within the commercial, health and sustainable energy sectors.
- With the majority of our 20+ Planning team based in Newcastle NSW, we are looking to expand our existing operations in the QLD region to provide greater availability and access for our clients. Based out of the SLR Brisbane office, and overlooking the Brisbane River, this is an exciting opportunity for a leader in their field, who is looking for an opportunity to grow a team around our well-respected band.Key Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**
This role offers an opportunity to become a pivotal part of the planning team, both leading and growing a team within the QLD market.
- The planning team are a dynamic and fast paced team. We are looking for a leader to continue to enable us to deliver quality, commercial planning outcomes for our existing clients and beyond. The right person will make this role their own, therefore the specifics of the job tasks are up for discussion.**Skills and experience**
Not only will you bring a great attitude and enthusiastic approach to your work, ideally you will also have:

- A degree in town planning or equivalent
- 10+ or more years working experience within a consulting business with direct experience in a town planning, property, development
- Demonstrated ability to attract, retain and grow client relationships
- A thorough understanding of project budgets and deliverables while maintaining excellent client service that we are known for
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take the initiative and be proactive in your workplace and implement new ideas
