**Your new role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting the wider finance team you will have a varied and interesting role in the team

**You will**
- Assist in preparation and delivery of weekly payroll
- Assist with payroll enquiries in a prompt, professional, confidential, and courteous manner
- Comply with all EBA’s, awards and legislation ensuring timely implementation of any changes.
- Liaise with external agencies such as ATO and government departments as required
- Data Entry
- Assist with monthly Invoicing
- Support Accounts Payable as required
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Internally you will liaise with staff and managers
- Ensure that Ad-hoc financial and operational reporting is completed

**Your skills and experience will include**
- Experience in a finance role with some payroll experience preferred
- Interpretation of relevant awards and EBAs
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel and MS Word
- Experience with MYOB Advance would be an advantage
- Ability to maintain the highest integrity levels and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues.
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to investigate and rectify payroll/finance issues.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
