**About the Team**
Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it’s made up of a broad and multi-disciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating best-in-class customer and user experiences.
**Purpose**
The purpose of the Product Marketing Manager role is to define product propositions that deliver value to our customers (direct and partner) and support the acquisition and retention outcomes by crafting messaging and go-to-market strategies through researching customer and competitor context.
**Key Objectives Outcomes**
Strategic Market Leadership: Defining our market strategy and driving our segment
- Contribute to the direction of the SME product, helping to identify new opportunities to drive growth.
- Continuously analyze SaaS product market dynamics, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to find opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
**Connector: Connecting product, customer, and market insights**
- Act as the liaison between Product Management, Sales/Success, Voice of Customer, and Support Operations, ensuring seamless go-to-market execution.
- Segment customers to identify target personas for focused marketing efforts, bringing to bear existing market insights.
- Conduct market research to understand the market landscape, including trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Conduct competitive analysis to differentiate the product and develop effective positioning and messaging.
**Storyteller: Shape how the world views our products**
- Collect and analyze customer insights to comprehend customer needs, difficulties, and motivations.
- Develop positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the MYOB Business’ product value to our customers.
**Knowledge, Experience**
- Extensive experience in a seasoned Product Marketing role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- A proven track record of using customer and market insights to craft positioning and messaging that drives commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and completing go-to-market strategies that achieve commercial success.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse market dynamics, customer segmentation, and funnel dynamics.
- Proficiency in or willingness to upskill in PowerBI is encouraged for data analysis.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, acting as a connector between functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for products and campaigns.
- Proven ability to drive business growth, achieve revenue targets, and optimise key performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.
