**Remuneration**: AHP4 ($114,314 - $124,449 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation

**Role Details**
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a **Practice Leader** to join on a full-time term basis.
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
- Providing advice, information, resources, mentoring, coaching and other support to strengthen the practice capability of office staff.
- Monitoring practice quality within the office, identifying practice issues and implementing quality improvement strategies.
- Leading strategic projects to build practice capability within the office.
- Promoting a learning culture within the office by developing and sourcing relevant training opportunities.
- Recognising skill and knowledge gaps amongst office staff and facilitating training or other development activities.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Experience in providing an evidence based and culturally appropriate social work practice to children, young people, their families and carers.
- Knowledge of issues and systems affecting children and young people requiring care and protection, including their families and carers.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining a professional learning and development environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience in providing reflective supervision in a child protection context.
