**About the team**:

**About the role**:
In this newly created role, you will develop supply strategies for Coles Brand products as part of the own brand strategic sourcing team. You will ensure best ‘End To End’ value solutions with select key strategic suppliers and to deepen supplier collaboration to drive longer term sustainable cost advantage. This role will see you leverage your procurement sourcing strategies in such areas as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement and drive the value-added sourcing stream.

You will also:

- Develop and implement a Coles Brand sourcing strategy
- Create, manage, and run a series of workshops with key suppliers to focus on areas of optimisation within the end-to-end value chain
- Partner with and align varied internal stakeholders and senior management suppliers’ representatives to ensure the optimal category strategy is developed
- Identify future innovation opportunities to keep the category ahead of industry trends/technologies

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record across procurement and exposure to manufacturing in areas such as lean processes, understanding waste and is well versed in continuous improvement. Strong planning, problem solving, and time management skills is also essential and will help to set you up for success

You’ll also need:

- Skills and experience in the retail industry
- Demonstrated project management and stakeholder management skills
- Developed ability and proven track record to influence a varied stakeholder group
- Ability to work within a commercial, fast paced, and complex environment
- Strong inter-personal skills and proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Strong planning and time management skills
