**About the Role**

Liebherr is implementing their defined “Mining Zero Emission Program”. Where the first step was to build the electrified mining product range and the second step is to offer complete fossil fuel free mining equipment for haulage, digging, and dozing by 2030. On this pathway, focus is on modularisation to allow the integration of energy type agnostic power trains including alternative fuel combustion engines, battery and fuel cells.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Acts as technical representative for factory development scope of AHS, serving as direct link between the customer/project and factory
- Plan activities associated with supply and integration of AHS from multiple suppliers
- Participate in sprint planning sessions to communicate project dependencies and priorities
- Identify and resolve potential “blockers” within the joint development activities
- Provide leadership and direction to technical staff during deployment
- Facilitate factory test requests during deployment
- Validate and organize corrective actions and continuous AHS improvement activities
- Define and report on key AHS metrics
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables

**Key Criteria**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 8 plus years’ experience in a mining or engineering environment
- Willing to work an afternoon shift work pattern to effectively liaise with international partners
- Flexibility to travel extensively to customer sites and internationally
- Commitment to complying with, and adhere to QA and Health and Safety guidelines
- Handles multiple assignments and priorities, while fulfilling all commitments
- Establish and sustain robust/effective long term relationships
