This new project offers an exciting new opportunity to join us as aFIFO Haulage Site Supervisor with the Merkanooka team.

We will pay return (direct where available) flights on a 4/2 roster from Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Darwin, flying with Virgin or Qantas.
We now offer return (direct) flights on a 4/2 roster to various airports across Southeast Asia (e.g. Bali/Thailand & Philippines) and New Zealand.
We will pay 1 flight on a 2/1 roster to all locations mentioned above.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide open, effective & efficient leadership to crews of Road Train Operators, Watercart, Grader & Loader Operators, Safety personnel & Site Administrators
· Safeguard daily operations to ensure production is achieved in a safe and proficient manner
· Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with our client and sub-contractors
· Communicate effectively with your team ensuring a constructive, positive, safe and productive work environment
· Provide comprehensive reporting to management team on haulage achievements, challenges and improvements
Our package offerings:
· Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project
· We offer a competitive base salary plus superannuation on all 12.5 hours worked
· Your choice of a 2/1 or 4/2 Roster
· Day Shift (night shift coverage if required)
· Weekly pay
· Paid annual leave (20 days) & sick pay (10 days)
To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess the following:
· years prior experience in a similar mine site-based Haulage Supervisory role with a knowledge of load & haul, road maintenance and transport operations
· Enjoy working in a team environment where you bring your professionalism and your positive attitude to our crew
· Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors
· WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Appointment or willingness to obtain
· Australian working rights
· National Police Check or ability to obtain one
