**_ About the role_**

Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, the GM Finance, Technology & Corporate plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and financial accountability across key business functions. By optimizing processes, managing risks, providing expert financial guidance, and ensuring compliance, you'll contribute to the overall success and financial health of Alinta Energy. Your ability to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making will be instrumental in achieving our organsational goals.

**_ What you’ll do_**
- Work with the Corporate Executive teams to develop comprehensive long term strategic plans
- Drive financial performance and accountability across corporate functions
- Ensure our Technology investments align with business objectives and drive innovation and success
- Foster collaboration and communication with key stakeholders
- Develop and mentor our talented finance team to drive financial success

**_Your experience _**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting and membership of professional financial institutions
- Extensive experience in a similar senior finance position supporting Corporate and/or Technology business units
- Demonstrated experience in investment evaluation, with a focus on IT / Digital projects
- Demonstrated experience business partnering at an executive level by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- Extensive experience evaluating the impact of cost drivers on financial performance and in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization
- A collaborative leader, skilled at fostering teamwork, driving innovation, and achieving high performance.
