**The role & team**
Specsavers have a high performing Retail Training Design Team of sixteen based in Port Melbourne. In the last two years, the team have demonstrated industry leadership winning many awards at AITD and LearnX; for Best Use of Technology for Learning, Best eLearning, Best Game Design (AR App), Best Onboarding, Best Learning Culture Strategy, Best Learning Campaign, Best shift it online, Best L&D Team and also Best Learning Design Team.
- Working in the Central Operations and Training function, this role reports into the Learning Systems Manager. The Learning Analyst is part of the wider Training team which consists of; Learning Design, Digital Design, Projects and Operations and Learning Systems. In this role, you will provide comprehensive data analysis and reporting for the department and identify training impacts on business performance. In addition, you will support the day-to-day maintenance of our Learning Management System including technical support for end users and administration support for learning projects, as required.

**The essential skills we are looking for**
- A sense of curiosity in discovering why things are the way they are
- Proven experience in data analytics, reporting and impact assessment
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tool
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Ability to translate data into reporting to enable sound decision making and insights in a visually impactful way
- Previous experience in working with a Learning Management System is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A continuous improvement mindset
