John Fawkner Private Hospital is an administration officer to join our team on a part time basis in our consulting suites. You will play a key role working within our supportive team to ensure our patients have a positive experience during their care.
This is a part time role - 3 days per week working shifts (Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays) no weekend work

John Fawkner Private Hospital has a long established tradition for providing quality healthcare to our local community, the veteran community and patients travelling from regional northwest Victoria.
**As an administration officer -**Consulting Suites your responsibilities will include**:
- Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
- Manage a busy reception desk and answering and redirecting calls
- Support our Doctors and patients across our consulting suites
- Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork
- Daily and monthly reports
- Patient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebate
- Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
**Essential Criteria**:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- 1-year administration experience, medical reception/administration desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
