**Description**
Due to continued customer requirements, we have an exciting opening as Network Technical Lead supporting the worlds largest manufacturing company & other Systal customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Network tech lead is responsible for leading a team of network engineers and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the organisation's network infrastructure. This includes:
- designing, configuring, and supporting DataCenter/WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructures. T
- provide lifecycle management, quality assurance, customer communications, and technical/troubleshooting support.
- Alongside the technical knowledge required for this role, you will also be required to manage and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development
- Ability to confidently provide analysis, CSIP suggestions and work with the customer to understand their pipeline of technology and how Systal can proactively support this.
- This position can require working outside office hours on scheduled changes, provide on-call support for high severity incidents and participate in meetings/activity at customer location if requested.
**Key Requirements**
- Experience configuring Cisco IOS-XE Routers and Switches
- Understanding of SD-WAN
- Routing Protocols including OMP, BGP, EIGRP and OSPF.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Wireless Networks
- Extensive experience with switching and associated layer 2 configuration
- Significant experience dealing with large and complex firewalls - ideally Palo Alto
- Knowledge of Azure networking and security
- Knowledge of physical cabling and layer 2 standards: Ethernet, fibre, etc.
- Excellent communication, client interface and project management skills required.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Cisco Certifications preferred: CCNP, CCSP, CCDP.
