**About the role**

Brisbane Private Hospital is currently seeking professional and customer focused Supply Officer to join their busy team of professionals on a full time basis. We offer a supportive atmosphere and an support so you get to grow in your role and achieve work-life balance.

Reporting directly to the Supply Team Leader, this position is responsible for assisting with the supply management of hospital, focusing in operating theatres with involvement in wards and other areas within the hospital.

The position also includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general duties in our logistics area. The position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work.

Our partnership with Damascus Health Services means we can offer a range of recovery-led drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatments and are the largest private provider of this service in Australia. We are a 44 bed unit located in the front building of the Brisbane Private Hospital with ground level being for our day patients and levels 1 and 2 for inpatients. We provide a confidential and flexible approach to the care and treatment of people with problems related to the use of alcohol and/or prescribed and over-the-counter drugs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital imprest areas
- Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff as required to create an experience that makes a difference.
- Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope’s policies and processes, code of conduct.
- Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
- Supports Healthscope’s safety and quality improvement and achievement of accreditation by actively participating in department meetings, audits and quality activities.
- Ensure compliance with and participation in the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience with a computerised purchasing system (i.e. Technology One)
- Ability to work within constraints of a set financial budget
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proven time management and problem solving ability
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role (desired) Warehousing, Inventory background will be considered
- Medical product knowledge (desired)
