Externally administered, the fund has developed a range of product and service offerings that have enabled continued growth and retention of both membership and participating employer bases.

**The Role**

Key responsibilities:

- Support the Senior Operations Manager and the Head of Operations in ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of organisational operations with a particular focus on both the work of the third - party administrator and the Fund's defined benefit plans;
- Work with the Senior Operations Manager and the Head of Operations across the business to ensure the ongoing coordination and prioritisation of key administration projects, BAU activities, system change requests and product design changes, particularly as they relate to the management of defined benefit; and
- Ensure that defined benefit and other process and operational changes to support changes to the Fund's products and services offered are implemented effectively and efficiently

**The Person**

You have:

- Tertiary or other qualifications in an appropriate field, and are RG 146 compliant;
- Knowledge of the operational aspects of complex defined benefit plans, and exceptionally high attention to detail;
- At least three years of experience with day to day defined benefit administration, analysis and reconciliation;
- Excellent judgement and decision - making skills; and
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and reporting skills coupled with the ability to distil key issues from complex problems and subsequently implement appropriate solutions
