**About the role**:
As Hostplus' Head of Defined Benefits, you will lead the charge in delivering exceptional operational services to our Defined Benefit (DB) Membership. Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end DB operations, ensuring compliance with DB Trust Deed(s), and managing effective service delivery to meet member needs. Your role involves strategic management of outsourced administration services, proactive resolution of operational issues, and collaboration with internal stakeholders for the implementation of new DB products.

Join us in shaping operational excellence, safeguarding member assets, and representing Hostplus on industry-specific initiatives.
- Oversee end-to-end DB operations and ensure compliance with DB Trust Deed(s).
- Manage outsourced administration services and proactively address operational issues.
- Collaborate on the implementation of new DB products, shaping operational excellence at Hostplus.

We're seeking a Head of Defined Benefits who not only understands superannuation intricacies, especially defined benefit products but is also adept at leading operational teams and building top-tier infrastructure. Your ability to navigate legislative requirements, drive operational efficiencies, and create a positive team environment sets you apart. With a proven track record in budget setting, operational changes, and business analysis, you're the strategic thinker we need to shape the future of our defined benefits program.
