This position is responsible for supporting the program oversight of DVA’s arrangements for public hospitals services for veterans across Australia and working closely with colleagues in DVA and States and Territories.

**Duties**
- Process patient level data in the DVA’s data processing and payment system.
- Manage and respond to client complaints in relation to hospital treatment.
- Manage work flow to meet priorities.
- Oversee data submissions and undertaking data quality assurance.
- Conduct data and financial reconciliations according to contractual deadlines.
- Perform research and analysis to assist with the preparation of reports on relevant program activities.
- Process analytical results and present data in formats suitable for interpretation.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations, including ad hoc activities, manage team mailbox, ensuring ongoing provision of quality service.
- Engage and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients and providers to ensure that DVA is effective in carrying out its business.
- Approve or certify payments, entitlement and other forms of expenditure with appropriate delegation

A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions (ongoing and non-ongoing) within the next 18 months.
