**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Manager - University Entry Programs to join QUT College, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.

The Manager - University Entry Programs (UEP) at QUT College is responsible for the day-to-day management of UEP Educators and the overarching management of UEP students at risk. The Manager - UEP is responsible for leading improvements in performance for educators, overseeing academic workload and, through Performance, Planning and Review (PPR), assisting educator career development. In consultation with the Associate Director, QUT College this position manages resourcing (staff, physical and digital) to meet teaching and learning needs. Additionally and in conjunction with the Administration Coordinator, the Manager - UEP provides co-curricular experiences to enhance student engagement.

**About the Academic Division**

The Academic Division is responsible for supporting and delivering learning, teaching, research and research services to students and staff. This is realised via the Education and Research portfolios and through the work of our Faculties.

The Head of the Academic Division is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic), Professor Robina Xavier. Professor Xavier provides strategic oversight and financial management of the Division and provides leadership to the Education portfolio.

The Division’s Research portfolio and academic faculties, are led by the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Research), Professor Christopher Barner-Kowollik.

About QUT College

QUT College delivers a range of programs to international and domestic students with an emphasis on pathways to QUT faculty programs. The College comprises two suites of programs, English Language and University Entry Programs to assist students meet entry requirements for university degree programs, as well as to improve their English for personal, professional, or academic purposes.

**What you need to succeed**

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in education and extensive relevant experience with a minimum five years management experience in an educational context.
- Highly-developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate, build, and maintain relationships with staff, students and internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage staff and physical resources to deliver high quality teaching and learning outcomes.
- Demonstrated teaching competence and ability to provide leadership to other Educators.
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills in educational contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement opportunities for business improvements that provide strategic value.
