We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our close-knit team at the Palais Royale Boutique Hotel in the role of Front Office All-Rounder.

The Palais Royale Boutique Hotel is a landmark property in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Over 100 years old, this hidden gem is well reknowned for its grandeur elegance and central location for guests and visitors.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they step through our doors until their final farewell.

Guest experience is at the heart of the Palais Royale offering, we are committed to offering personalised, exceptional customer service in all of our areas of service to increase repeat clientele and to exceed guest expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet all guests in a genuine and approachable manner.
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Inspect rooms in preparation for guest checki
- Anticipate the needs of guests and proactively address them to exceed expectations.
- Assist in responding to guest enquiries for conferences, group bookings and inbound tour requests and setup where required
- Support and oversee the food and beverage, housekeeping teams in maintain high levels of service and impeccable delivery
- Assistance in maintaining a high level of standard in hotel presentation
- Effective communication and collaboration with team members for a harmonious work environment.

**The successful applicant will ideally possess**:

- Right to work in Australia.
- Passion for the hospitality industry.
- Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance.
- Availability to work a rotating roster over seven days, including morning and evening shifts.
- Previous experience in a hotel reservations, PMS and front office hotel operations is essential
- Qualifications in Hotel Management would be advantageous.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Customer service orientation with a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Can-do attitude towards work.
- Ability to thrive in a small team and perform under pressure.
- Computer literacy and competency in using MS Office products including MS Office, Excel and Outlook is essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $31.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (preferred)
