**Role Description/Criteria**

Holy Family School is seeking an enthusiastic classroom teacher. The successful applicant will have:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and lead whole-school literacy initiatives aligned with the **Science of Reading** and **synthetic phonics** (e.g. **PhOrMeS**, **UFLI**).
- Embed **explicit teaching routines** and the **Gradual Release of Responsibility** model across classrooms.
- Coach and mentor teachers in high-impact instructional strategies, supporting differentiated teaching and consistent practice.
- Support the development of **novel study programs** that foster deep text engagement, inferential thinking, and academic language.
- Collaborate on the planning and delivery of a **knowledge-rich curriculum**, ensuring coherence across learning areas.
- Monitor student data to inform targeted interventions, improve learning outcomes, and guide professional learning.
- Serve as a core member of the **school leadership team**, contributing to whole-school improvement in curriculum, behaviour, and teaching quality.
