We are looking for two Assistant Educators (Cert III or Diploma) to join our client at their fabulous near new 85-place early learning service in Mount Waverley.

Our client's philosophy is promoting children's interest through play-based learning. The service's Reggio-inspired curriculum integrates literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week. There is also access to a weekly visit from an Artist for creative art experiences and a qualified sports coach for an opportunity to work on motor skills.

Your role as an Educator is to provide a nurturing, happy and stimulating learning environment for the children in your care. Working with the Room Leader and Educational leader, you will assist in providing thoughtful and meaningful programs based on the diversity of learners in our centre. You will focus on putting children’s rights first and give each child a sense of belonging, being and becoming.

Your day includes:

- Making children laugh while learning
- Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
- Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
- Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
- Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.

What we are looking for:

- Hold a completed Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (required)
- Previous experience in a long daycare setting (required)
- A positive attitude to life, am a team player and have excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and writing)
- Able to maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS, and other child safety regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

- ECEC related: 1 year (preferred)
- working in a long day care environment: 2 years (required)
