We have an opportunity for a **Civil Design Drafter **to assist in the delivery of projects from concept stage through to construction documentation. Your skills and confidence in design and delivery of general civil works and specifically earthworks will be essential for this role.
- Work with the team on challenging mining, rehabilitation and landfill projects.
- Provide project coordination and assistance in the production of design documentation using Microstation, AutoCAD and 12D and/or Civil 3D modelling software for civil and mining projects.
- Ensuring project design and documentation is of a high standard and complies with clients or GHD’s design and drafting standards.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, or be guided and lead by our technical leaders (depending on your experience level).
- Supporting Team Leader and Business Supporting Team Leader and Business Group Leader with activities associated with managing the E&R group as well as continued development of innovations and digital transformation.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Diploma TAFE qualification in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5yrs of relevant work experience.
- A demonstrated history of civil and earthworks projects.
- Experience in design documentation of earthworks for civil, mining and/or landfills projects.
- Drainage experience highly regarded.
- Proven experience using Microstation and AutoCAD.
- Proven experience using 12d and/or Civil 3D.
- Synergy and Navisworks exposure is advantageous.
- Ideally have previous experience within an engineering consulting firm.
