**THE COMPANY**
DevEx Resources is an exploration company with a diversified portfolio of high-quality projects spanning some of Australia’s best-endowed mining regions. They are exploring the highly prospective Julimar district of Western Australia, with exploration at the Sovereign Project targeting nickel, copper, and platinum group elements.
**THE POSITION**
This position is an opportunity to join the DevEx team in an integral position. You will provide accurate and timely processing of the accounts payable function, assist the Financial Accountant and provide general office administrative support to the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Full AP function - end-to-end accounts payable processing
- Supplier invoice processing
- Prepare and process employee expense reimbursements
- Project/Tenement coding of invoices and credit notes
- Regular vendor payment runs
- Ad-hoc vendor payments as required
- Process and reconcile credit card transactions
- Supplier/Vendor statement reconciliations
- Communicate with suppliers and resolve queries
- Bank Reconciliation
- Credit Card Reconciliations
- Processing daily drill plods for the exploration team
- Bank account and credit card management
- AP mailbox management
- Management of supplier management system
- Liaising with the site regarding any AP queries that need clarification
- Adhoc duties as required including general administration
**ABOUT YOU**
We are seeking a determined self-starter with solid accounts payable experience (previous role in AP, AP/AR, Bookkeeper). You will have worked within the resource sector. You’ll be a clear and concise communicator with the confidence to interact at all levels of the business. The ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and work against tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude is essential.
Ideally, you will have experience using an ERP system (Odoo is used by DevEx)
A diploma in Business or a Certificate in Bookkeeping would be an advantage but not essential.
